Sports injury recovery: what to expect

Amor Therapies · Bethnal Green, East London

Amor Therapies and State of Change Clinic — A quiet spot to catch your breath between sets.

The niggle that won't go away

An ongoing niggle is often more disruptive than a single serious injury, since it never quite clears up and keeps limiting what you can do in training. The aim of a recovery session is to treat it directly and get you back to training, rather than prescribing a long course of general sessions.

What this is, and what it isn't

This is hands-on recovery support that sits alongside your training, not a substitute for medical diagnosis or physiotherapy. If something looks like it needs a doctor's or a physio's assessment, we'll say so directly rather than treating around it.

How a session is built

Sessions are shaped around your training schedule and what's actually bothering you, drawing on sports massage, deep tissue work and cupping as needed, rather than a fixed one-size-fits-all format.

Who it's for

Anyone training regularly, whether that's the gym, a sport, or just staying generally active, who's carrying an injury or a persistent tight spot that needs direct, hands-on attention.
